A look back at the visit to Pierre Carli's honey farm in Patrimonio, as part of the «GSF Craft Fair». ![]()
Pierre Carli, a beekeeper in Patrimonio, gave around twenty visitors the opportunity to discover his profession through a demonstration of his machines extracting honey from the hives in his production room. ![]()
Then, young and old alike were able to learn more about the characteristics of Corsican honey through a tasting of several of its products. Visitors were able to sample different flavours, such as the bitterness of honey from arbutus trees or the sweetness of honey from the Agriates. The favourite remains the «vintage» honey, a nod to the wine-growing region of Patrimonio!
At the end of the day, there were no bee stings to report! Phew!
Thanks to Pierre Carli for welcoming us and sharing his passion.
See you soon at the Grand Site de France
