Created in 2000, the Réseau des Grands Sites de France (Network of Great Sites of France) now brings together more than 50 exceptional sites, attracting over 38 million visitors each year. This network includes areas that have been awarded the «Grand Site de France» label, as well as those committed to ambitious sustainable development initiatives in order to obtain this prestigious label.

He also collaborates with local authorities that manage major sites, providing them with his expertise in the management of listed sites and the promotion of heritage areas. A true platform for exchange and innovation, the Network promotes the sharing of experiences and best practices between sites., whether they already have certification or are involved in a Grand Site initiative. They all share the common goal of offering a high-quality hospitality that respects the identity of the location while contributing to local social and economic development.

Committed to ongoing reflection on the challenges of preservation and tourist pressure, the Network operates at both national and international levels. Since 2011, it has been recognised as a training organisation and active member of ICOMOS, thereby strengthening its role as a benchmark in the protection and promotion of major heritage sites.
