Workshops for renewal of the Grand Site de France label

On Wednesday 5 and Friday 7 October 2022, preparatory discussions were held at the Maison des Vins in Patrimonio to discuss the renewal of the Grand Site de France label.

Several important themes that form the basis of what defines a Grand Site de France were discussed.

During the event, around sixty local stakeholders (mayors, winegrowers, artisans, historians, government officials, local authorities, associations, etc.) had the opportunity to engage in lengthy discussions on the themes of «Protect and Share» (the landscape values of the GSF) and «Promote and Welcome» (economic promotion and discovery of the GSF).

A review of the actions carried out by the Joint Association over the past six years was presented by the debate moderators, Mr. Antoine Orsini, Director of the Joint Association of the Grand Site de France de la Conca d'Oru, and Ms. Laurence Fabbri, Director of the Territoires et Paysages design office.

Subsequently, the participants were able to reflect on ideas for future projects, which will form the basis for the design of the next management plan for the period 2023–2029.

In conclusion, the Joint Association would like to extend its sincere thanks to all participants and looks forward to seeing them again soon at the Grand Site.
