From 1 to 4 October 2025, we had the pleasure of participating in the 27th Annual Meeting of the Network of Great Sites of France, organised this year on the Grand Site de France Flanders Dunes.
The main theme focused on development of projects related to built heritage.
These meetings provided an opportunity for numerous discussions on the preservation, protection and management of this heritage, which is essential to the identity of our regions.
Several Grands Sites de France shared their feedback and presented their value enhancement strategies and development of their built heritage, offering rich and inspiring perspectives.
The discussions continued with field visits at the Grand Site de France Dunes de Flandre, particularly at the Dune Dewulf and to the North Farm.
These moments provided a concrete insight into the actions undertaken in the field.
These meetings concluded on 4 October with a visit to Dunkirk, highlighting the strong link between heritage, territory and sustainable projects.
A big thank you to the organisers, speakers and all participants for the quality of the discussions and the collective energy surrounding this fascinating topic!
