This Saturday, the Operata clean beaches initiative took place on Farinole beach. ️
An operation aimed at collecting various types of rubbish washed up on the beach. With the help of around fifteen volunteers, the Grand Site managed to collect around ten kilos of all kinds of waste (plastic, cigarette butts, ropes and wooden planks, etc.) in less than three hours. ️
Participants then gathered for a light lunch. Finally, as part of Nature Day, the day ended with an awareness-raising session on the role of Posidonia seagrass on our beaches.
Thank you to all our volunteers aged 5 to 87!
See you soon for more events at our Grand Site de France.
