The Grand Site de France Conca d'Oru, Patrimonio vineyard – Gulf of Saint-Florent, organised school trips on land and sea in partnership with the Académie de Corse, schools and colleges in the Conca d'Oru area, and the Bureau Montagne Nebbiu.
The aim of these walks was to introduce pupils to the wonderful landscapes of the Grand Site, but also to show them some of the cultural, environmental and agricultural heritage present within the Grand Site.
These school trips were also an opportunity to raise pupils' awareness of protecting their environment and biodiversity.
They also had the privilege of visiting the Maison du Grand Site exhibition space and testing their newly acquired knowledge with a quiz.
Initially, seven classes of different levels from primary and secondary schools were able to participate in this project, which ran from 24 May to 14 June 2024.
This initiative marks the beginning of an ambitious educational programme established between the Syndicat Mixte du Grand Site de France and the Corsican Regional Education Authority.
