On 15 January 2026, a public meeting was held at the Salle des Fêtes in Poggio d'Oletta to launch the Atlas of Communal Biodiversity for the Conca d'Oru, Patrimonio Vineyards - Gulf of Saint Florent Grand Site de France.
Hosted by the CPIE, in collaboration with the Grand Site, the meeting provided an opportunity to present the Atlas of Communal Biodiversity project, a two-year programme aimed at improving knowledge of, preserving and promoting local biodiversity. The events planned for the general public as part of this project were also detailed, as was the opportunity for local residents to get involved by becoming «biodiversity ambassadors».
The meeting was also an opportunity to raise public awareness of the region's biodiversity issues and to encourage discussion about local natural resources. Around thirty people took part in this information and sharing event, demonstrating their interest in this collective project for the benefit of the region. We would like to thank them for their participation, as well as the Poggio d'Oletta town hall for its warm welcome.
Financed with the support of the Green Fund, the French Office for Biodiversity and the Grand Site de France Conca d'Oru, Patrimonio vineyards - golfe de Saint-Florent.
