Through a fascinating lecture by the Corsican Chiroptera Group on the different bats living in our region, our visitors were able to learn more about this little-known mammal!
The group then wandered through the narrow streets of Saint-Florent equipped with devices that convert the ultrasonic sounds emitted by bats into sounds audible to humans, in the hope of catching a glimpse of these animals. We were treated to a magnificent ballet of pipistrelles above the citadel of Saint-Florent.
