On the occasion of Architecture Days 2024, the Syndicat Mixte du Grand Site de France organised a tour of a restored pagliaghju in the commune of Saint Florent on Friday 18 October, in collaboration with Etudes et Chantiers de Corse.
Around ten people joined us on this adventure to discover the historical, heritage and architectural riches of these iconic agricultural buildings.
On the agenda for today:
- Discovery and explanations of the restoration techniques used
- Photographic exhibition of the stages of renovation
- Demonstration of dry stone wall construction
