Science Festival 2026: See you at the Maison du Grand Site de la Conca d’Oru! 🐝🍯
As part of the 2026 edition dedicated to «Saveurs Savantes», the Grand Site de Conca d’Oru invites you to explore «L’alchimia di u mele» on Wednesday 7 October 2026 at the Maison du Grand Site (Saint-Florent).
On the programme for this open day, which is open to young and old alike:
- Science and sensory workshops (from 9.30 am to 11.30 am or from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm) Led by beekeeper Pierre Carli. Discover the chemistry behind the transformation of nectar, the key role played by bees, and stimulate your senses with a guided tasting of maquis honeys.
- Public talk (from 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm) — Presented by Mr Cornuel-Willermoz from the Corsican Insect Conservation Observatory (OCIC), offering a comprehensive insight into biodiversity and the island’s pollinators.
