đź“… 19 and 20 September, the Maison du Grand Site de France in Saint-Florent is opening its doors to the public to mark European Heritage Days!

The theme of this 43rd edition is «Heritage at risk: revitalise, resist, reimagine», a theme that is particularly in line with the work carried out by the Grand Site to preserve and pass on our heritage.

To mark the occasion, the Grand Site de France is offering:

🏠 Free entry to the Maison du Grand Site de France
Make the most of the whole weekend to explore our exhibition and interpretation space for free.

👣 Guided tours of the Maison du Grand Site
Throughout the day on Saturday 19 September, come and discover the area’s landscapes, heritage and treasures on a guided tour.

🪨 «Before / After» Exhibition – Dry Stone Project
Take a look at the photos showing the restoration work carried out on the clowns across the region as part of our «dry stone» initiative. An opportunity to understand the importance of preserving these elements of our rural and landscape heritage.

🎙️ Lecture at 3.00 pm on Saturday 19 September 2026 – «What is our local heritage and why should it be restored?»
Our presenter invites you to join her in reflecting on the concept of heritage, what gives it its value in our region, and the reasons why we are now committed to preserving it, restoring it and passing it on to future generations.
