On 24 June 2026, starting at 10am, discover the Farinole iron mine trail on a hike combining natural heritage and historical memory.
Along the way, participants will be able to discover the botanical trail and learn more about the local biodiversity through awareness-raising sessions dedicated to the richness of this preserved environment. This outing will also be an opportunity to delve into the history of the Farinole iron ore mine, with explanations of the past mining periods, the routes taken by the miners and the materials once used in the miners' house.
Combining nature, history and transmission, this walk will take you on a journey to the heart of the Grand Site de France's heritage.
⚠️ For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to enter the mines.
Don't forget to bring water and good shoes to make the most of the route.
