{"id":7765,"date":"2025-08-05T12:16:22","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T10:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grand-site-concadoru.fr\/randonnee-biodiversite-du-grand-site-a-la-decouverte-de-la-biodiversite-terrestre-sur-le-sentier-de-la-mine-de-fer-de-farinole-2\/"},"modified":"2025-12-09T12:09:38","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T11:09:38","slug":"biodiversity-hike-through-the-grand-site-to-discover-terrestrial-biodiversity-on-the-farinole-2-iron-mine-trail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grand-site-concadoru.fr\/en\/randonnee-biodiversite-du-grand-site-a-la-decouverte-de-la-biodiversite-terrestre-sur-le-sentier-de-la-mine-de-fer-de-farinole-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Grand Site Biodiversity Hike: Discovering terrestrial biodiversity on the Farinole iron mine trail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This Saturday, around ten participants took part in a <strong>superb<\/strong> <strong>hike <\/strong>organised by the <strong>Grand Site de France Conca d\u2019Oru \u2013 Patrimonio Vineyard \u2013 Gulf of Saint-Florent<\/strong>, in partnership with the <strong>Nebbiu Mountain Office<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The route followed the <strong>Farinole iron mine trail<\/strong>, between sea and scrubland, offering a unique immersion in the site's landscapes as well as in the richness of its <strong>local biodiversity<\/strong>. Throughout the journey, discussions with participants provided a better understanding of the species, natural environments and conservation issues affecting this remarkable area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This release is part of the actions leading up to the\u2019<strong>Atlas of Municipal Biodiversity (ABC) of the Grand Site<\/strong>, an ambitious project covering the entire territory of the six municipalities of the Grand Site, and funded by the\u2019<strong>French Biodiversity Agency (OFB)<\/strong>. The ABC will enable us to better understand, share and protect the biodiversity of our region.
