It offers an exceptional view of the Patrimonio vineyards as well as the area's iconic landscape and limestone ridges.<\/p><p>The project involved the construction of a car park with capacity for around ten vehicles, as well as a dedicated bicycle parking area, thereby facilitating diverse access to the site. A path incorporates a staircase carved from local stone to ensure that it blends into the landscape and respects the natural environment. Designed as a circular route, it offers visitors a succession of views of the limestone range, the vineyards and the villages of Patrimonio and Barbaggio.<\/p><p>A wooden platform, carefully integrated into a rocky promontory, has been installed to provide a discreet and immersive viewpoint, in perfect harmony with the site. Near this platform is the start of the panoramic balcony trail.<\/p><p>In 2022, the Syndicat Mixte du Grand Site de France undertook development work to facilitate and secure its thoroughfare, separating Greater Bastia from Nebbiu-Conca d'Oru, is a veritable gateway to the Grand Site de France. The Col de Teghime is also a historic site, having witnessed one of the most famous battles of the liberation of Corsica during the Second World War, with military remains from that period still visible today.<\/p><p>Also in 2022, alongside the work on the Barbaggio viewpoint, the Syndicat Mixte du Grand Site carried out landscaping work on the Col de Teghime site.<\/p><p>In order to showcase this gateway to the Grand Site de France, careful renovation work has been carried out. A new car park has been created to welcome visitors in comfortable conditions. The old infrastructure has been dismantled and the site has been renaturalised, helping to restore its natural character. A secure footpath has also been created, making it easier for visitors to get around while ensuring their safety. To enhance the visitor experience, a totem pole and a Grand Site de France landscape reading table have been installed. The famous Casemate and its surroundings have been restored, and a historical fresco in enamelled lava has been installed, adding a strong heritage dimension.
