On 11 July, a free event on the theme of «Posidonia in all its forms» was held at the Maison du Grand Site de France in Saint-Florent. In partnership with the Cap Corse and Agriate Marine Nature Park and the CPIE u Marinu, our visitors were able to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of this aquatic plant, endemic to the Mediterranean.
Equipped with virtual reality headsets, they had the privilege of discovering the incredible but fragile ecosystem that is the underwater world. This presentation was an opportunity to learn about the characteristics of this plant, but also to teach the right actions to take to preserve it, while having fun with short quizzes set up by the CPIE.
The session concluded with a guided tour of the Maison du Grand Site de France to gain an overview of the complex and rich territory of the Grand Site de France Conca d'Oru, the Patrimonio vineyards and the Gulf of Saint-Florent.
