The 2e The photographic campaign by the Grand Site Landscape Photography Observatory is coming to an end!
Beginning in late spring, it follows on from the 1firstcampaign carried out in autumn 2020. A press conference presenting this project was also held recently, attended by all the elected representatives of the Syndicat Mixte du Grand Site.
Find all the details about this conference on our website and social media channels.
In line with the objectives of the GSF management plan, these photographic campaigns will enable comparisons to be made in the medium and long term between different landscapes and urban areas and how they have changed over time.
The Landscape Photography Observatory is a tool for monitoring, decision-making and mediation between stakeholders in the region. This knowledge, management and planning tool, which can be mobilised by the GSF to promote and preserve the landscape, makes it possible to:
– Monitor the natural or anthropogenic landscape dynamics of the Grand Site,
– Assess the impact of public policies and management actions implemented,
– To influence the behaviour and decisions of stakeholders in the landscape.
The various landscape and urban contexts will be observed through the production of more than 80 photographs each year from fixed points covering different themes such as landscapes, urban areas, the coastline, iconic landmarks, etc.
This photographic observatory is produced by the Grand Site Management Association, in partnership with the Corsican Environment Office and the Corsican Council for Architecture, Urban Planning and the Environment.
